At St. Anne’s School, we begin each academic year with a unifying theme—one that reflects our values, strengthens our community, and inspires our shared journey of growth. We are thrilled to announce that our 2025–2026 school theme is Growing in Gratitude.
Gratitude, at its core, is more than a feeling—it is a practice rooted in care, empathy, and awareness. This year, we will intentionally and actively embrace gratitude in both big and small ways, cultivating a culture of appreciation that deepens relationships and uplifts every member of our school community.
During our opening faculty and staff chapel, we were honored to be joined by the Reverend Manoj Zacharia of St. Anne’s Church. He offered these powerful words:
Gratitude is not the extra seasoning sprinkled on top of our work; it is the soil from which our true vocation grows. Gratitude is the practice of opening us up to wonder. And wonder, in turn, sustains the heart of a teacher.
These words serve as a beautiful reminder of the transformative power of gratitude—not only in education, but in life. As we engage in meaningful learning experiences, support one another, and celebrate the journey of childhood and growth, we’ll be weaving gratitude into our daily practices, conversations, and curriculum.
Building on the momentum of recent themes like Sustaining Joy (2023–2024) and Cultivating Connections (2024–2025), our exceptional educators and staff are eager to explore how gratitude can further enrich our students’ lives—intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
We invite our entire community—students, families, alumni, and friends—to join us as we Grow in Gratitude together throughout this school year.
