Dignity Over Division
Our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging flows directly from our Episcopal identity and our foundational call to social justice. Rooted in our mission to “uphold the dignity of every human being,” we take this work seriously. For us, it is not about politics—it is about people. It is not about divisiveness—it is about dignity.
We envision a school community where our core values—Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Kindness—are lived out every day. Here, students and adults alike develop the courage, wisdom, and compassion to work for a more just and equitable world.
We pursue this vision by:
- Integrating diverse perspectives into our curriculum
- Honoring the intersections of identity and affirming our shared humanity
- Fostering a culture of belonging where every student feels seen, valued, and celebrated
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging in Action
Our students are encouraged to engage in meaningful dialogue, speak their truth, and wrestle with the complexities of the world through values-based frameworks. Through inquiry, reflection, and advocacy, they learn not only to understand the world as it is—but to imagine and help create the world as it could be.
DEI Strategic Plan
The Board of Trustees’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, in collaboration with School Leadership, has developed a comprehensive DEI Strategic Plan to guide this important work.

The Equity in Education Scholarship
Founded in 2020, the Equity in Education Scholarship (EES) reflects St. Anne’s School’s commitment to expanding access and opportunity through both merit- and need-based support. This scholarship provides local, underrepresented students with the opportunity to experience a St. Anne’s School education and all that it offers. Awarded annually to a rising Sixth Grade student, the EES covers 100% of tuition and all ancillary expenses through Eighth Grade graduation. More than financial support, the scholarship is a bold affirmation of our belief in the power of education to transform lives and the importance of amplifying diverse voices within our community.
At St. Anne’s School, every child belongs. Every voice matters. Every life is sacred.
