For ages 3.5 to rising Kindergarteners
Designed as an extension of our Program for Young Children, St. Anne’s School’s Summer Explorers Camp invites our youngest learners—ages 3.5 to rising Kindergarteners—to continue growing, discovering, and creating throughout the summer months in a safe, nurturing, and adventure-filled environment.
Rooted in Joy
Each of our eight themed weeks offers a new journey led by our talented early childhood educators, with engaging activities rooted in exploration, creativity, and joyful learning. Campers dive into nature, enjoy outdoor play, express themselves through arts & crafts, participate in hands-on projects, and move their bodies through music and movement each day.
Fun in the Sun Fridays
We close each week with water play and outdoor fun, splashing into the weekend with joy, laughter,
and icy treats in hand.
Expert Explorers
Each week, we welcome special guest educators and entertainers to deepen the week’s theme. Past guests have included:

2026 Summer Explorers Summer Camp Details
Camp Cost: $395 per week
Camp Age Range: 3.5 yrs. to Rising Kindergarteners (must be potty trained)
Camp Schedule: 9:00am-3:00pm
Before Care: 8:00-9:00am (additional $20 per week)
After Care: 3:00-5:00pm (additional $35 per week)
What to Bring: A detailed list of what to bring will be sent to all registered campers. While a healthy, daily snack is provided, we ask that campers bring their own labeled water bottle and nut-free lunch.
Required Forms: All campers must complete the 2026 State of Maryland 2026 Camper Health and Information Form prior to their first day of camp. This form, along with all other requirements, will be sent to registered campers.
Multi-Week Discount
- Receive a 5% discount: Enroll In 2 or more sessions per registrant.
- Receive a 7% discount: Enroll In 3-5 or more sessions per registrant.
- Receive a 10% discount: Enroll In 6+ or more sessions per registrant.

Camp Cancellation Policy
To receive a refund on your purchased tickets for Summer Explorers Camp, you must notify the Camp of your cancellation request by Friday, May 22, 2026. A refund will be issued for your selected dates once your written cancellation request is received. To cancel, please send a written cancellation notice to Camp Director Tracy Edlich at [email protected].

Expert Explorers: The Science Guys
Cost: $330
Get ready for a week full of giggles, goggles, and goo! Your camper will explore hands-on experiments that bubble, pop, and fizz. Each day will bring a new discovery! With a focus on early STEAM learning, campers will mix, pour, shake, and stir their ways to big smiles and even bigger imaginations. Learning + laughter + a little bit of mess = the perfect science adventure!

This week we will be bringing the zoo to St. Annes’s School! Each day we will learn about animals and the great outdoors. We will have outdoor adventures with child-led explorations. We will also have a special animal surprise. This week is sure to bring out the zoologist in each of our campers!

It’s time to dig out your hardhats and put on your tool belts. Get ready to read, play, and learn through activities related to building, creating, digging, and construction! We’ll get our campers’ wheels turning as we introduce STEAM concepts through hands-on games and activities.

Who wants holiday cheer only once a year? Christmas in July is a chance to get into the holiday spirit before the actual holiday rush! We will celebrate with our favorite reindeer games, enjoy some festive goodies, and learn holiday traditions from near and far. Let’s cool down from the summer heat by bringing a winter wonderland to our camp.

Calling all Paleontologists! Come roar and stomp your way into some fun as we explore the Jurassic World and its incredible creatures. We will enjoy some guest creatures and even make a volcano erupt. It’s sure to be a T-rific time!

Get ready for a week of imagination and adventure as we journey to Never Neverland! Campers will explore magical lands where pirates roam, fairies sparkle, and mermaids swim about. We will hunt a hidden treasure, make fairy houses, build forts, and enjoy many adventures. We can’t wait to see you...second star to the right and straight on ‘til Morning!

Week 8: August 10 - August 14

Expert Explorer: Dan the Magic Man
Cost: $395
This week we will bring the magic of a carnival to camp! We will combine learning with fun. There will be many exciting activities for our campers to experience. We will make and play our own games, enjoy crafts, practice tumbling, and be dazzled by a guest magician. Time to make some popcorn and start clowning around!
Summer Explorers Camp registration is currently open to the St. Anne's School community and returning campers only. Registration will open to the public on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
Whether your child is a budding scientist, a curious artist, or an energetic explorer, Summer Explorers Camp is a place where they’ll feel right at home—and have a whole lot of fun while learning and growing.
